April Fools!!!

Make up a poem for April Fools Day!!! Make it random, hilarious, sweet, or just descriptive. This is for you press!!!

Rules:

No intimate talk that goes past the first kiss.

It has to be longer than 3 paragraphs.

It can rhyme or just be flowy.

You can enter two for each person.

You will be disqualified if you break one of the rules unless I say otherwise.

Due Dates:

All poems will be collected on April 2 and then I will announce the winner on April 3.

God Only Knows

My heart broke,
Because something didn’t show.
I cry every night,
For something you’ll never know.
When I look through the window,
All I see around me
Is all the bloody snow.

All I see
In a pretty flower,
Is the bloody rose.
If you’ll ever leave my mind,
God only knows.

You take me down.
You break me down.
You shut me down,
I don’t wanna stay around anymore.
But I can’t let go
Losing my control
Wanting so bad
To be with you.

I know the words of rejection
Are waiting on your lips.
And the word of remorse,
Are waiting on mine.

All I see inside my soul
Is the silence I chose.
If your name will ever leave my mind
God only knows.

Oh the evil webs we weave,
Oh the dark holes we leave.
Oh the taunting words that we use,
What joyful hearts we abuse.

Oh what fantasies we dream,
Make things not what they seem.
Grieving hearts are what we follow,
So we no longer feel so sad and so hollow.

What careless rainbows we cast,
When trying to forget our painful past.
What dangerous paths we tread,
The sickening thoughts inside our heads.

Oh the evil love we give,
To torture the lives that live.
This dreadful cloud of shame,
A stranger’s body and a stranger’s name.
